Throughout history, the world’s most transformative artists left home to find themselves. From Istanbul to Lagos, Buenos Aires to Rishikesh, travel has always been the catalyst behind culture’s greatest breakthroughs.
Global Pass reintroduces this tradition.
Created by Storyhouse World, Global Pass is an international residency platform designed for established and ascending diaspora artists, thinkers, and visionaries. We provide the space, time, and resources needed to step out of the noise, deepen your practice, and create your next defining body of work.
Global Pass is curated for artists who have achieved a first chapter of recognized excellence and are standing at the threshold of what comes next. We welcome creators across all disciplines, including film, literature, music, visual arts, performance, and architecture, whose work expands the boundaries of diasporic expression and cultural thought.
Our inaugural Fall 2026 cohort are invited to complete 15-day immersive residencies hosted at world-class partner properties across Africa, including Marrakech, Luxor, Aswan, Lake Ruhondo, and Cape Town.
Every Global Pass fellowship is fully sponsored, providing Fully Sponsored Hospitality, Travel & Production Grants, Global Community & Visibility and 1-Year Guild Membership to Storyhouse World.
The Next Chapter Begins Here.
